Our Mental Health Learning and Development Program enhances the skills, knowledge and capabilities of our people to deliver high-quality care and support to individuals experiencing mental health issues, their families, carers, supporters and kin.
This program was formed after the cessation of the Mental Health Training and Development Unit (MHTDU) in mid-2024, with its primary focus now on supporting the learning and development needs of the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) Mental Health Services.
We have scheduled some core training for the first 6 months of 2025, with more to be added as we determine the needs and priorities of the workforce.
Who can attend our workshops?
Our workshops and programs are designed for the RMH Mental Health Services workforce. Some sessions may be available to external mental health workforce employees or to the broader RMH workforce.
Contact us at mh-lad@mh.org.au for more information about the programs available and whether you are eligible.
Fees
Attendance fees may apply for participants not currently employed by the RMH or Specialist Program (OSP).
