The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) employs Hospital Medical Officers (HMOs) who rotate through 4 rotations of 13 weeks.

HMOs are employed by the hospital through direct appointment and PMCV match.

HMOs can apply for Basic Physician Training or a Hospital Medical Officer contract.

Applications for these positions are coordinated internally through DIT Recruitment.

Hospital Medical Officers can only apply for streamed positions from PGY3+ year.
