For GPs and specialists

Our GP Liaison team helps GPs and other health professionals to navigate and refer patients to services at the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH). We work to improve communication between the hospital and primary care.

The Royal Melbourne Hospital may occasionally share relevant information with other entities such as law enforcement, family violence services or child protection professionals.

Research

Psychiatry

We employ psychiatry medical staff at a senior and junior level across all our clinical services to help provide excellent clinical care to our consumers, as well as their families, carers, supporters and kin.

Our psychiatry training program is accredited by the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) and our senior medical staff are RANZCP members.

Unaccredited and pre-vocational registrars

We recruit unaccredited and pre-vocational registrars who have an interest in joining the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (RANZCP) psychiatry training program in the future.
