The Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is a strong and passionate voice for promoting partnership and improving care at all levels of health service design and delivery.
The CAC advises the organisation on the inclusion of consumer, carer, and community voices in all RMH activities. Members help shape effective partnership, planning, delivery and improvement of care and services.
The CAC is chaired by a Royal Melbourne Hospital Board member and consists of 12 community members and several senior staff representatives including our Chief Executive. Community members may be patients, consumers, carers, or general community representatives.
