Tommy is a professional speaker, consultant, and actor. He has a bachelor's degree in human nutrition, as well as a diploma of fitness.
Tommy lives with a disability and readily shares his experiences to encourage others to have a deeper awareness and understanding of inclusion and to break down stigma. After having a stroke at the age of 12, he has been a patient at the Royal Children’s Hospital, the Royal Adelaide Hospital and the Royal Melbourne Hospital for many years.
Some of his adventures and fundraising achievements include walking the Kokoda Trail and completing a 3-year-long, 4 points journey across Australia by recumbent trike, for which he was nominated for the 2024 Fundraiser of the Year for the Stroke Foundation. He completed the Tassie 3 Points Ride in 2025.
Tommy runs a personal training business, has public speaking roles in schools and the wider community and is a member of the Stroke Foundation Childhood Lived Experience Advisory Group.
