Projects involving external organisations may require research agreements or other contractual arrangements. These can include collaborative research projects, clinical trials, student research projects, data or material transfers, research services and amendments to existing agreements.
All projects undergo Contracts Office screening through completion of the mandatory Contract Kickstarter Form, as part of the SSA application process.
For information about research agreements, agreement requirements and signing arrangements, visit Contracts Office. RMH staff can access the Contracts Office page on the RMH staff intranet for detailed guidance on contracts and internal processes.
The Contracts Office can support you if:
- you are collaborating with another organisation or institute to conduct research
- you are conducting a clinical trial
- your project involves a student using the research to meet degree requirements
- you are sharing data, materials, confidential information or research services to another organisation (for a new or existing project)
- you are receiving data or materials from another organisation for your research (for a new or existing project)
- you need to vary an existing contract
What do I do when:
Complete the Contract Kickstarter Form if you need us to draft an agreement for your research project.
Submit the completed form as part of your governance application.
Complete the Contracts Kickstarter Form with project details and upload the draft agreement.
Submit the form as part of your governance application or amendment.
