Policies and procedures

In addition to being familiar with the national guidelines, all researchers working at the RMH need to comply with all applicable RMH and Office for Research policies and procedures. These are available on Prompt via the RMH intranet. The Research Policy is the fundamental document supporting research activities at RMH. 

Compliance with our policies and procedures provides public assurance that the rights, safety and wellbeing of research participants are protected and that clinical trial data are credible. 

In addition, the Research Quality Office has established a quality management system comprising of procedures, guidelines and templates to underpin research activities at RMH. 

These are intended to provide the necessary tools to ensure that all research at the RMH is conducted in accordance with organisational, legislative and regulatory requirements.
