Doctors unsure how to treat snake bite, study finds, following two deaths News article

More than 3,000 Australians are bitten by snakes every year, with 500 being hospitalised and two dying on average. Last year, in Victoria, there were 128 calls to the Victorian Poison Information Centre regarding snake bites.

Community Care Unit RMH Service

We provide 24-hour recovery-focused rehabilitation in a community residential setting to people with complex mental health needs.

General Diabetes and Endocrinology RMH Service

We provide treatment, care and support for people with endocrine conditions; including diabetes, osteoporosis, pituitary disease and thyroid disease.

City Hub after-hours service

We provide telephone and telehealth-based support and care in the after-hours period to patients and carers of eligible programs.

Medical Elective Program

The Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH) Clinical School coordinates medical elective requests from Australian and overseas medical students in addition to teaching medical students from the University of Melbourne.
