Many of the toilets across the RMH Parkville are single room, all-gender toilets. These include some wheelchair accessible toilets, and facilities with baby-change tables or sharps bins for those who need them.

We use an electronic medical record (EMR) to improve the way we deliver patient care.

Chronic kidney disease education program

People diagnosed with chronic kidney disease (CKD) are carefully monitored during frequent visits to our specialist clinics and attend the CKD education program to prepare for their future care.

We provide custom-made silicone prostheses that restore malformed or absent parts of the face.

New treatment study for people with lupus Research study

This early-phase study is testing a new treatment for adults with moderate to severe lupus (SLE). The new treatment is a type of antibody designed to help the immune system remove certain B cells that play a role in lupus.

Possible treatment for Parkinson’s disease Research study

Cerevel Therapeutics has begun a study of an experimental drug called CVL-751 as a possible treatment for people with Parkinson’s disease.

Effects of denosumab on normal breast tissue for BRCA gene carriers Research study

A trial to investigate the effects of denosumab on normal breast tissue in patients with BRCA 1 or 2 mutations and to determine if the drug has the potential to prevent breast cancer.
