Community Teams RMH Service

We provide specialist mental health assessment, care and treatment for people across several community-based locations in northern and western metropolitan Melbourne.

Community Care Unit RMH Service

We provide 24-hour recovery-focused rehabilitation in a community residential setting to people with complex mental health needs.

Prevention and Recovery Care RMH Service

We provide short-term intensive treatment and support in a residential setting to adults as a less-restrictive alternative to an acute inpatient admission.

General Diabetes and Endocrinology RMH Service

We provide treatment, care and support for people with endocrine conditions; including diabetes, osteoporosis, pituitary disease and thyroid disease.

Office for Research fees

The Office for Research oversees all aspects of research at the Royal Melbourne Hospital (RMH), with the major component of work arising from the operation of the HREC and the governance of research projects undertaken at or by the RMH.

Stage 2 and 3 registrars

After first year, we have the capacity to rotate registrars through a broad range of positions that meet the RANZCP Stage 2 training requirements in consultation-liaison, child and adolescent and old age psychiatry training.
